Dinner Church
“Come to the table and be fed.”
Thursday Evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm during May 2023
This is our more casual dinner church worship opportunity. We start with a welcome gathering, some contemporary songs to set the tone for worship, and share a theme for the evening. We break bread together, sharing communion by serving each other. We pray for one another, those we know are in need, our church, community, and the world. We bless the food and fill our plates. While we eat a simple supper (soup, bread, salad, sides and dessert), Scripture is shared, and questions are posed for thoughtful dinner conversation. We learn and grow together! We end the service by sharing the cup and singing a closing song. Then we clean up together, family-style.
The meal is plant-based. Gluten-free options are available.
Dinnerware, utensils, tablecloths, and napkins are all washable so we have no waste.

We invite you to experience worship around the dinner table, as Christ did years ago with his disciples. It’s a very moving experience. Come and be fed!*
